How to build a Herringbone Milking Center (Single Return Alley)
This plan provides information about the construction of either a double-4 or double-8 stall herringbone milking parlor complete with milk room, office, mechaincal equipment room and a small washroom. Since there are no standard dimensions for making milk systems, the dimensions of the parlor should coincide with the size of the equipment that it will hold. A meeting with the equipment supplier prior to the construction of the parlor would ensure an easy equipment installation when it is time to do so
