How to build a Coot 22ft
I much admire the sharpie for its simplicity of construction and stability under sail. After reading Reuel Parker's The Sharpie Book, It wasn't a week before I set out to build my own version of a sharpie skiff. (Click here to see pictures of Foolhardy.) Coot is a throwback to the days when sharpies dominated the Chesapeake Bay.
